First Development Corporation has been active in both commercial and residential development since its inception. We were instrumental in the development of the Smithtown Galleria which is the first mixed-use development in the town.

FDC has repositioned and redeveloped many shopping centers throughout Long Island capitalizing on our vision, experience and strong tenant relationships to reimagine and re-tenant shopping centers for the new century. In addition to the New York metropolitan area, we are exploring fast growing markets throughout the Eastern United States with particular concentrations in the greater metro markets of Washington, D.C., Raleigh, Jacksonville, and Tampa.
